Catalytic by-pass and Swans neck 965
I have just fitted the swan's neck with some aprehension (fearing a "competition" noise!) I started the engine: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! In reality quite a deep and husky sound. I was quite surprised, but I guess that the SCART catalytic by-pass has a lot to do with it, as the double chamber holds back the noise level. In fact, some time ago I fitted an exhaust with a 100 cell cat and a (short) swan's neck of another make, the sound was really "unbearable" unless you wanted to drive on a circuit.
With your complete line, here I am HAPPY and it's interesting to know that I discovered the existance of your company whilst reading an English magazine "911 & Porsche World"!
I also appreciate the quality of your products as there was absolutely no problem with the fitting and at the same time the finish is impecable.

Sport Silencer 996
The major criticism of the 996, is that the noise it makes is dull compared with previous versions.
The pair of SCART Sport Silencers allow you to really enjoy the melody of the Flat 6 accelerating, giving the car back a sporty zest and the character lacking in the original.
Other than the performance of these silencers, when driving normally, there is absolutely no change in the level of comfort and you can still travel on long journeys with wife and children.
One last point, the MOT posed no problems whatsoever.
Thank you Mr SCART for giving this car the quality it was missing.

Sound:
Excellent...!!!
The acoustic signature of my 964 has completely changed...it's neither like the original nor like a racing car...it's in between...neither too noisy, nor too quiet. The noise level is tolerable even on long journeys... I love the sound when it's revving hard...
Reliability:
For the moment and after a little over a month of use, we'll wait and see.
I hope my comments are useful...in any case I recommend that you buy one for your 964...it changes everything.

I really regret now, not having bought the SCART Cup pipe earlier (I have had my 911 for 5 years). After all for a small investment it gives a lot of satisfaction, real and imaginary.
I was looking for an exhaust which could make the flat sound beautiful, without being too noisy inside the car on long journeys nor too agressive outside to avoid alerting the traffic police and the neighbours. Fabien immediately recommended the SCART pipe, leaving out the elbow which gives too much of a "racing" sound.
Brand new, just after being fitted, it was a bit of a let down, the melody was far too quiet. However, after 4 to 500kms of driving, at last, the sound changes. To start with when you turn on the ignition you get the feeling that the engine behind you is bigger and more powerful. At low revs, the noise becomes deep and raunchy and ends up raging and frankly sporty on the corners. What a joy to reach the red zone..... you can feel and hear that the engine breaths better. Whilst the increase in power is not really noticeable (although I doubt that you can, but this was not what I was looking for in any case) the engine does seem more lively and reactive at acceleration and the little jumps of injection which were there before seem to have completely dissappeared. Even if it is subjective, I like to think it is true.
To sum up, for me, the result is positive all the way.
